Boundaries for Better Relationships On-demand course

Boundaries for Better Relationships

What if boundaries made your relationships feel easier, not harder? Learn what your relationship boundaries are, how to create them and put them into practice with small, simple steps.

So many of us were never shown how to hold a boundary. We learned to keep the peace, to over-give or to go quiet, and then wondered why we felt so tired, and so far from ourselves. Often, what makes a boundary hard isn't knowing what to say. It's the fear underneath: of rejection, of criticism, or of losing the relationship.

This course helps you understand where those patterns come from, and gives you practical steps for holding a boundary in the moment, with a partner, family or friends. Boundaries aren't walls. Done with care, they're what let you stay close to the people you love while staying connected to yourself.

Why are these exercises so effective?

Grounded in Research

We can only hold a boundary when our whole brain is online. Under threat, the brain puts survival first, and everything we know matters to us becomes hard to reach.

The course helps you recognise when you're in that state, so you can pause and respond rather than react.

Differentiation

Being close to someone doesn't mean carrying their feelings as your own. Differentiation is the ability to stay connected to yourself while staying connected to others.

You'll learn what your responsibilities are, and what is not yours to carry. This helps you support yourself in your relationships, to stay connected and authentic.

Nervous System Regulation

Our bodies pick up on what's happening before we notice a boundary is needed. This results in stress that builds up and spills into our relationships.

The exercises help you notice the early signals in your body, so that you can learn to track when you are missing a boundary, and implement it for your own protection.
